See YOURSELF in Arizona for four days of baseball, baseball, and more baseball. You will also see women just like you, scouting the possibilities.

​When you look at these pictures, who do YOU see?

Who?

Any woman, age 18 and older, with the desire to improve her knowledge of baseball, learn the tools used in talent evaluation, and develop the skills it takes to become a baseball scout. (No previous baseball playing, coaching,
​or scouting experience is required.)

​

What?

​Four days of instruction in how to evaluate baseball talent, and how to work like a scout. 
  • Thursday:  Evening introduction session
  • Friday - Sunday: Morning classroom, afternoon ballgame, evening classroom.
  • Monday: Morning classroom session
  • Instruction provided by current and/or former ML scouting personnel.
Unique features of this program include the networking and mentoring opportunities. 

Where?

The Scouting Baseball program will based in Peoria, Arizona, within 10 minutes walking distance of the Peoria Sports Complex, where Arizona Fall League games are played.
  • The classroom facility is at Huntington University, a small, digital arts college, located midway between the hotel and the Complex.
  • The program has reserved a block of rooms at a discounted rate at the Residence Inn Peoria. Once you have registered for the program, hotel reservation information will be forwarded to you. 
We strongly encourage you to stay with the group at the Residence Inn if you are coming from out-of-town. In addition to the convenience (not needing a car,) there will be opportunities to network outside class with your fellow students and the instructors.

​(Students staying at the hotel will be expected to walk to and from the hotel, classroom, and ballpark. Accommodations will be made available upon request.)

When?

Thursday, October 17, through Monday, October 21.
​There will be one session late afternoon/evening, on Thursday,  three full days on Friday-Sunday, and a half-day of classroom on Monday. (Subject to some change, according to baseball game schedule, weather, etc.)

How much?


​Tuition for the program includes one/two classroom sessions daily (depending on the day,) three baseball games, two meals daily* and snacks, as well as program materials.
*Breakfast at the Residence Inn is complimentary with room reservation.

​The cost for the program is $1299.

SPACE IS LIMITED!! In order to reserve your spot, you must pay at least a deposit ($500) at the time of application. Full payment is due by October 1, 2019. You have until October 1, 2019, to cancel your reservation and receive a full refund, minus $100. This also applies to deposit-only payments. After October 1, 2019, no refund will be issued.
WISE members receive priority in registration, so please be sure to note your WISE membership in your registration.
